Welcome to Adapt Coffee. We, Maja + Moses Brajkovich are the founders. Born and raised in Erin, Ontario, we're 19 + 18 years of age. In December of 2017 we happened upon a 1962 airstream globetrotter trailer in a farmer’s field. The trailer, though well used for the first five decades of it’s existence had been parked and forgotten for the last 15 years. It was perfect.
Spring thaw released the trailer to us on April 28, 2018. With the help of our younger sister Mila, we began the onerous task of gutting and rebuilding our old tin can. One year spent riveting, welding, painting, flooring, polishing the aluminum, plumbing, hooking up electrical, designing cabinets and re-painting and more polishing, we finished in May 2019. Perfect imperfection.
We are Adapt Coffee.
You can find us at local festivals and events serving specialty teas + coffees as well as healthy homemade snacks. We are a family-run, community-driven, environmentally conscious and ethically sustainable company. Transformation of the trailer involved as much preloved material as we could find; cabinets made from old dock boards, La Marzocco coffee machine (we've named Matilda) and grinder from a previous café - even the trailer itself = upcycled! We aim to produce the most delicious, available cup of coffee by using and supporting products sourced from ethically and environmentally mindful companies such as Millers Dairy for milk, Demello Pahleta for coffee beans, and Genuine Tea for tea.
We look forward to serving you soon!
